Recently, I was diagnosed with high cholesterol and suffered terrible leg pain from pharmaceutical medication. After someone informed me about red yeast rice, I ordered it. I haven't had my cholesterol checked again, but I'm feeling significantly better since I started taking these. I no longer experience chest pain or the typical symptoms linked with high cholesterol. However, my holistic practitioner advised me against long-term use, as it could have similar effects on the liver as pharmaceutical drugs. Therefore, milk thistle and Coenzyme Q10 are recommended alongside it.
